Pareesa Pourian makes paintings, writes poetry, and studies herbalism in the Northern Catskills region of New York State. She received an MFA in Painting from Rutgers University and did her undergraduate studies in painting and philosophy at Louisiana State University. She has taught painting and creative writing at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and is a member of Bushel Collective in Delhi, NY.
